available in English and in Spanish.

$15 per person includes workshops and lunch.

Double-length workshops take the entire time; it isn't possible to take both a double-length workshop AND another workshop.

Leadership tools & new ideas for unit management, with emphasis on goal setting.

Money Matter$: Treasurer
A walk-through of basic financial procedures for new treasurers & financial secretaries. We will let you know what is expected and hopefully make it easier to do your job. Topics include banking, budgets, fundraising, contracts, money handling, expenditure process, taxes and PTAEZ. Session 2 is the continuation of the treasurer class and includes some of the pesky topics one might encounter. Also, we will discuss what the auditor will expect you to provide for the audit. (Watch for an Auditor Training in Fall 2013.)
Every council & every unit should try to send one person to this session.

Finance Essentials for Non-Treasurers

Finance Essentials for all officers, especially Auditors! What is the treasurer doing? What are the forms and processes the treasurer should follow? All PTA officers & chairpersons have a fiduciary responsibility to protect the assets of the organization, so please attend this class to learn the basics of PTA finance.
